Lorg Talent is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well established heavy truck and bus dealership based in Oxley QLD.
About the Company
This Australian bus and coach manufacturer supplies vehicles across the country through a trusted dealership network. They are supported by a knowledgeable team across sales, service and parts, and have built a strong reputation in the industry over many years.
About the Role
You will oversee the day to day running of a busy dealership workshop, leading a close knit team of technicians and ensuring high standards of service, safety and operational efficiency.
This is a hands on leadership position suited to someone with strong mechanical capability, proven dealership experience and a genuine passion for team development and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and support the workshop and service team
- Oversee scheduling, workflow and dealership service quality
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring qualified and timely service delivery
- Monitor budgets,
KPI performance and workshop productivity
- Promote a culture of safety, teamwork and continuous improvement
About You
- Trade background with strong mechanical and diagnostic knowledge
- Previous experience in a dealership environment is essential
- Proven background in service or workshop management within heavy truck and bus
- Confident leadership style with the ability to guide and support the team
- Strong communication skills and customer service focus
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, workflow and customer relationships effectively
- Commitment to safety, performance and service excellence
