Professionals who fall under the Health Professionals State Award must provide evidence of three years’ clinical experience in their profession to be appointed at a Level 2 and above.

About the role

Tweed Valley Hospital is seeking a highly qualified extended scope practice physiotherapist to provide high level, evidenced-based, primary contact physiotherapy services to patients of the Emergency Department/Quick Track Unit. While the position primarily focuses on providing primary contact services, the successful candidate must also be prepared to contribute to secondary contact activities within the Emergency Department as required. Weekend work is an essential and defining component of the position. The position entails 5 x 8 hour shifts, working Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Specific workdays may, in the future, be subject to change depending on the workload characteristics of the Emergency.
