Role details
The Community Health Nursing at the Proserpine Hospital is seeking applications for a Clinical Nurse (Child Health) to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity
The Clinical Nurse provides nursing services within the health service settings; and is responsible for a portfolio with a focus on clinical care/leadership, management, education and/or research. The activities are predominantly clinical in nature but also provide support to a Nurse Grade 7 or above in management activities.
The Clinical Nurse (Child Health Nurse) provides advanced level Child Health clinical skills to ensure client-focused evidence-based nursing care. You will plan and coordinate the clinical management of client care and provide leadership and support to other nursing staff within the Whitsunday Nursing Service.
About the Team
The Whitsunday Health Service comprises two facilities: the Community Health Campus in Cannonvale and the Hospital Campus in Proserpine. The hospital is a 35-bed acute care facility that offers a variety of specialty inpatient and outpatient services. The Community Health Campus offers a range of community health services provided by a multi-disciplinary team. The Whitsunday Heath Service covers the Whitsunday Regional Shire, Midge Point and Bloomsbury.
