MR Truck Driver required for 10 pallet tautliner truck with manual standard gear box. Warehouse based in Lilydale Victoria. Casual ongoing basis, 25 - 30 plus hours per week (no weekends).
The Driver will be responsible for delivering our products safely & efficiently. The successful applicant must be friendly and qualified whilst performing deliveries to our customers.
Key responsibilities
- Performing multiple drop deliveries to various customers in and around the Melbourne Metropolitan region.
- Pick up of materials from suppliers when needed.
- Ensuring paperwork and delivery records are completed & accurate
- Loading, unloading and maintaining a clean vehicle
We are looking for someone that has
- Strong knowledge of Melbourne's roads and suburbs
- Strong safety focus and dependable work ethic
- Knowledge of current load restraint laws
- Reliable, punctual and has a can do positive attitude
- Team-oriented - we are a small business
Requirements
- Current MR License (mandatory)
- A good level of physical fitness and strength as there is repetitive manual handling and unloading involved (up to 25kg per item).
- Police check (at own cost)
- Vic Roads 5 year driving history
