Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor / Operations Manager
Employment Type: Full-time Position
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
Summary
The Warehouse/Storeperson is responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring smooth and safe warehouse operations. This role requires a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our established Thomastown team.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving & Inventory
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against documentation.
- Update inventory records and label items appropriately.
- Unload and process stock efficiently.
Order Fulfillment
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Organize freight bookings and shipping documentation.
- Safely load and unload trucks and containers.
Warehouse Operations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment.
- Conduct stocktakes and assist with inventory reporting.
- Liaise with internal teams and third-party logistics providers.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all WHS procedures and use PPE.
- Report hazards, damaged goods,
or equipment issues promptly.
Skills & Qualifications
Essential
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- Must hold current LF only Forklift Licence (other classes not required).
- Ability to handle stock safely and perform manual lifting.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, inventory systems).
- Robust communication and teamwork skills.

- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and solve problems proactively.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items as required.
