About the Role:
Newcastle Building Pty Ltd is on the lookout for an experienced Construction Manager to join our team in January 2026. This is a full time role where you will manage multiple residential projects across the Newcastle & Hunter Valley regions. This job is primarily office based with working on the tools required occasionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage up to 10 residential jobs concurrently
- Supervise all on-site trades
- Schedule jobs, materials and subcontractors using a Gantt Chart
- Liaise with internal team including draftsman, admin staff, lead carpenters and estimators
- Liaise with clients and provide regular updates
- Attend and conduct regular site visits and meetings
- Ensure site safety and compliance at all times
- Troubleshoot and resolve challenges as they arise
About You:
- Certificate III in Carpentry (essential)
- Certificate IV in Building & Construction (essential)
- Minimum 10 years residential construction experience including that of renovations, extensions and new builds
- Excellent Communication skills - both written and verbal
- Proven ability to manage multiple sites
- IT proficient and confident using Outlook, Google Drive and Excel Spreadsheets.
- Drivers Licence
