We’re excited to be looking for a Casual Float Attendant (salary based on employment type) to join our friendly, close-knit team at City Cave Springwood. This role offers up to 5 - 20 hours per week.

While our centre is a calm sanctuary for our guests, behind the scenes we run at a quick pace—so we’re seeking someone energetic, reliable, and motivated. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a blend of physical activity and administrative tasks, all within a serene and supportive environment.
We also prioritise staff wellbeing. Every team member receives 1 FREE Float Therapy and 1 FREE Infrared Sauna session each month, plus generous discounts on all services, retail, and more.
What the role involves:
• Opening, closing, and maintaining our wellness centre
(including room turns, deep cleaning equipment, preparing tea, handling laundry, restocking, and receiving deliveries). This is a physically active role, and some shifts will be worked solo.
• Welcoming guests and guiding them through their wellness journey with clear, confident service briefings
• Pool chemistry testing, equipment checks, and basic maintenance tasks
• Managing bookings, schedules, daily compliance checklists, inventory counts, and guest enquiries via phone and email
• Reaching sales targets and KPIs
Our ideal team member has:
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• A good level of fitness
• A positive, team-oriented attitude
• The ability to multi-task during peak times
• Confidence working independently when required
• Comfort interacting with guests; previous customer service or sales experience is highly valued
• Current First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
Experience in hospitality or day spa environments is highly desirable.
Please note: This position is not suitable for high school students.
Availability for evening and weekend shifts is essential.
Hours fall between 8:00am–9:30pm, Monday to Sunday.
