Loreto Normanhurst is seeking warm, energetic and emotionally intelligent Boarding Coordinators to join our vibrant Boarding School community, working with students aged 12–18 years.
With our new Boarding School facilities due to open in 2026, this is a unique chance to be part of an exciting new chapter. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of girls living away from home, fostering a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment.
We invite applications from caring, adaptable individuals passionate about supporting young people, especially those experienced in nursing, pastoral care, education, or youth work and who excel in team-oriented environments.
This is a permanent part-time role working Wednesday 3:00pm to Saturday 12:30pm during the school term.
What you'll do:
- Build strong, positive relationships with boarders, staff and families
- Provide active supervision and pastoral care with a visible, supportive presence
- Lead wellbeing initiatives and engaging activities tailored to early teens
- Support academic routines and social development
- Collaborate with a dedicated team to uphold the School’s values and culture
What you'll bring:
- A genuine love for working with teenagers and a welcoming, flexible attitude
- Strong communication,
organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead with integrity, empathy and initiative
- Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Duty of Care Certification (or willingness to obtain)
