A respected, multi-site dealership group in the Gippsland region is seeking a motivated Dealership Accountant to support their finance team in a fast-paced environment.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this hands-on role will see you managing critical finance operations, ensuring accuracy across monthly reporting, compliance, and day-to-day dealership transactions.
What you’ll be doing:
- Overseeing dealership financial functions and compliance
- Preparing monthly accruals, adjustments, and reconciliations
- Managing AP/AR processes and supporting payroll compliance
- Handling banking controls, debtors, and cash management
- Working across departments to ensure vehicle processing accuracy
- Supporting the Financial Controller with admin and reporting tasks
- Identifying and driving finance process improvements
What we’re looking for:
- Accounting qualifications or equivalent experience
- Experience in dealership or commercial finance roles
- Excellent Excel skills and high attention to detail
- Analytical, organised, and proactive communicator
- Ability to meet deadlines in a energetic environment
