About the Role:
Tynan Motors has a unique opportunity for a passionate Workshop Controller to oversee and manage our Mercedes-Benz service department in Miranda.
As an experienced workshop controller you will ensure a high quality of work and guide and motivate our team of experienced Technicians/Apprentices.
This position is permanent full-time.
Responsibilities:
- Managing workshop flow, whilst adhering to completion times
- Managing and leading a team to deliver quality workmanship, productivity and efficiently
- Ensure all tasks including service, maintenance, diagnosis and repair works are performed in line with brand policy,
procedure and compliance requirements
- Supervising and organising training
- Assisting technicians with diagnosing problems
- Ensuring all warranty procedures have been adhered to
- Monitor and manage Workshop activity to ensure profitability is maximised
- Ensuring WHS compliance
About you:
- You will be an experienced workshop controller
- Mercedes-Benz brand experience highly regarded
- ERA NET / ERA POWER experience - essential
- Electronic job scheduling experience - essential.
- Previous workshop control/supervisor experience
- Results orientated
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Strong customer service & communication skills
- Current NSW Drivers Licence
- Mechanic trade qualifications
