St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne (SVPHM) is a facility of St Vincent’s Health Australia under the stewardship of Mary Aikenhead Ministries. We are a not for profit Catholic private hospital which operates across four sites at Fitzroy, East Melbourne, Kew and Werribee. 



We are seeking experienced Enrolled Nurses to join us at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne. 



Due to rapid growth we are excited to be recruiting for multiple positions and can therefore offer flexibility for those seeking part time or casual work. 





We are looking for Enrolled Nurses that have been working in the acute setting for at least 12 months with experience in one of the following areas: 



- General Surgical 

- Day Oncology 

- Cardiac 

- Cardiovascular Cath Lab 

- Neurosurgery 

- Paediatrics 

- Plastic and reconstructive surgery 

- Orthopaedics 

- Colorectal /GIT / Hepaticobiliary 

- Urology 

- Gynaecology 

- Oncology / Haematology/Thoracics 



To be successful in the role you will need to be : 



- Registered with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse (Diploma of Nursing or equivalent qualification with full IV endorsement) 

- At least 12 months of acute experience working as an Enrolled Nurse (these positions are NOT suitable for a newly graduated Enrolled Nurse )  

- Australian Citizenship/Residency or hold a valid visa with appropriate work rights 

- Demonstrated ability to nurse a diverse range of patients and adapt to different work practices and environments 

- The ability to maintain a high level of communication with patients, staff and visitors
