Round Oak now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mining Superintendent to undertake responsibility for the daily supervision and coordination of all mining activities for the Jaguar and Bentley underground operations and associated areas.This role is permanent, full time and based at our Jaguar mine site, north of Leonora, WA, on an 8:6 roster. Job DescriptionDuties and responsibilities:Provide effective monitoring,

encouragement and coaching to the Supervisors - Mining and other underground employeesEnsure a regular review of manning and equipment requirements and report this through to the Mining ManagerLiaise with the Mining team / Mining Engineers to ensure that production and development activities planned are in line with the priorities set in short term mining schedulesReview and update underground activities to ensure that the targets set in short term mining schedules are achievedOn a daily basis, ensure all mining activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner and that works are executed to design specification and tolerancesDaily inspection of mine infrastructure and services required for the mine to operatePrepare, convey and review planning and shift report sheets as being a true and accurate record of works completed during the previous 24 hoursProvide practical mining advice to technical staff as requiredConduct daily inspection of the underground mine and associated areas to ensure compliance to relevant legislationSet clear goals and expectations, provide feedback and address employee performance issues in a timely manner to allow them to fulfil the requirements of their position description safely and productivelyWork independently and with the team to ensure own and individual goals and objectives are achievedThe ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:W.A.
