Kitchen Hand / Dishwasher - (NF-117)

We are looking for a dedicated Kitchen hand / Dishwasher at the recently renovated Pyalong Hotel to assist our Chef in busy pub kitchen.



Brand new kitchen facilities with industrial machine dishwasher



MUST have previous kitchen hand experience ( min 1 year) working in similar type role.



Flexible hours, lunch and evening shifts available



MUST be available to work weekends



Various duties as directed by Chef/ Cook but predominantly food prepping, assisting, taking instruction and maintaining an hygienic and clean food workspace



Please note will be required to hand wash dishes at super busy times however industrial dishwasher machine loading/ unloading of dishes is normal practice



Pay is above industry award rate

Experience:



- Kitchen hand : 1 year (Required)



Licence:



- current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) (Required)



Work Eligibility:



- Permitted to work permanently with no restriction on hours (e.g. citizen, permanent resident) (Preferred)



Job Duties:



- Operate an industrial dishwasher, washing dishes and glassware by hand when necessary

- Unload dishes, silverware, and glassware promptly and store them in the appropriate places

- Carry out basic cleaning tasks around the premises

- Assist chefs and waitstaff as required, especially during peak hours

- Escalate major issues where necessary (e.g. safety risks, equipment failure)

- Other duties as requested
