The Bureau is seeking an enthusiastic Freedom of Information (FOI) and Privacy Manager to lead the Bureau’s management of obligations under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Cth), Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Government Agencies Privacy Code.



The role involves providing professional advice to internal decision-makers when responding to requests for information under the FOI Act, managing FOI compliance and administrative activities, leading the development of the Bureau’s FOI framework, providing advice to the organisation in relation to privacy matters and privacy compliance,

and leading to the enhancement of the Bureau's privacy maturity.



The role reports to the General Counsel.
