Job Description Summary
About the Opportunity
Reporting into the Facilities Lead, the Concierge and Facilities Assistant will be responsible for delivering exceptional workplace experiences and service to client employees and guests, ensuring excellent customer service with every interaction.
You will be a friendly and motivated individual that is eager to learn about the Facilities Management space. This opportunity will directly support the onsite Facilities lead whilst delivering a range of on-site workplace services that support our Integrated Workplace Solutions service line for Cushman & Wakefield on behalf of the client.
Job Description
What you Will Be Doing
Responsible for ‘making sure things are right’ for the site users/employees/guests and making things better for the customer e.g. visitor access, meeting room bookings, workplace comfort
Proactively looks for opportunities to solve site user (employee, visitor, guest) problems ranging from occupancy and space utilisation challenges to cleaning and HVAC issues.
Issue work permits, security access pass, mail management and administration duties.
Provides Facilities Management support non-technical facilities
Assist in implementing the service provision at the facility in accordance with the scope and service levels as well as statutory and regulatory obligations
Assist as required in Building Committees (e.g. WHS, Emergency Planning Committee and Emergency Control Organisation etc)
Assist with implementation of scheduled routine tasks and preventative maintenance activities
Respond to reactive maintenance and requests
Participate in safe work practices and assist, contractor inductions and permits
Day to day coordination of vendor partner base to deliver maintenance works within site / client guidelines including the coordination of site works
About You
Front of house, reception or administrative experience is desirable, but not essential
Friendly and helpful and professional presentation
Ability to provide excellent customer service skills and positivity with every interaction
Higher School Certificate completion or equivalent
Strong attention to detail and time management skills, with the ability to assess what needs to be done
An interest in facilities management and/or commercial real estate.
