Allied Health Assistant – Community Based Rehabilitation.
An exciting opportunity exists for a Grade 2 Allied Health Assistant to join our Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) team providing quality care and rehabilitation services for clients in both land and aquatic environments.
The successful applicant will be part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team offering centre and home based therapy, across Musculoskeletal,
Neurological and Cardiorespiratory areas including group therapy under the direction of physiotherapists. There may also be opportunities to work under the direction of occupational therapists.
This is a permanent, part time position (0.6 EFT – 45.6 hours per fortnight) that is well supported, focused on team collaboration, includes undergraduate student supervision and offers ongoing professional development.
To be successful in this role you:
- Will have obtained an Allied Health Assistant Certificate III, IV or equivalent
- Need excellent organisational, written and verbal communication skills
- Have a commitment to high quality, safe and person centred care.
- Need to be confident in a water based environment
- Need advanced computer literacy and proficiency
- Hold a current Victorian driver’s licence
