About the Role:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Executive to join the ICC Sydney's Business Development team. As a Business Development Executive, you will look after a portfolio of Corporate, Government and Special events. In this role,
you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key influencers and decision makers, with the ultimate goal on winning new and repeat event business for ICC Sydney. This is an extraordinary opportunity to join an established business development team, reporting directly into the Business Development Manager - Corporate, Government and Events.
You will have a passion for the events industry and will thrive on what is a varied and fast-paced department.
The key to your success in this role will be combining your previous sales or business development experience with your passion for the events industry to win new and repeat business. You will have previously worked in the corporate market or the hospitality/tourism industry and bring with you strong insights of business to business sales methodologies
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in a similar role
- Current knowledge of hospitality, convention and exhibition industry
- Ability to develop strong and effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- High standard of writing and reporting skills
