The opportunity:

We are on the lookout for an energetic and experienced People & Culture Advisor to join our dynamic P&C; team in the New Year! Based at our Port Melbourne Head office, this opportunity will see the successful candidate provide support on the full suite of people management matters across our retail network.

Reporting into the General Manager of P&C;, your key responsibilities will include:

- Build strong relationships with management and key stakeholders across the business (particularly our wonderful Retail Operations team)

- Provide advise on people strategy and general coaching/support services in relation to people management matters

- Provide technical guidance and advice on the management of misconduct and grievance related matters in accordance with policies, procedures, industrial instruments, legislation, and best practice. 

- Coach and support our Store Managers to manage workplace conflict and actively build awareness on workplace bullying, sexual harassment and/or discrimination. 

- Assist the Talent Acquisition Lead with end-to-end recruitment processes across our retail and support offices.

- HR Administration in the manner of contract development, employee changes, monthly reporting and so forth

- Assist with offboarding and coordinate exit interview feedback for retail team members

What experience is required?

- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management, Business or equivalent is desirable

- Knowledge of and/or experience with General Retail Award 2010

- Knowledge of Fair Work Act and other relevant Employment Relations legislation

- HR Administration including Contract Administration, Employment transfers, Onboarding of New Starters etc.

- Demonstrated experience in analytical problem solving.

- Demonstrated stakeholder management experience.

- Experience in the retail, hospitality or FMCG industries is desirable
