FIFO Carpenter roles available for multiple projects in WA
Your new company
Hays are the recruiting experts within the Building Maintenance and Service sector and based on a new project requirement, we are looking for casual maintenance carpenters. The role is to assist with a number of camp maintenance and infrastructure requirements on site.
Your new role
The positions will involve maintenance and fault finding both the mine and camp.
You will be responsible for carrying out carpentry maintenance which will include general carpentry maintenance and repairs to building facades, doors, furniture, painting / patching and other related ad-hoc maintenance.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application you will need to be immediately available with the following:
- Trade Certificate in Carpentry
- Current WA Manual Drivers Licence
- Construction White Card
- Working at Heights Certificate (within 2 years)
- National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
- Ability to Pass Pre-employment Medical and ongoing Drug and alcohol screenings
- Previous FIFO experience and Inductions favourable
Due to the nature of the position you will need to reside within WA, specifically a close region of Perth City.

These are casual positions with an hourly rate. If you are successful in the position you will be provided with PPE and Site Specific inductions. in addition, due to the casual role all flights, meals and accommodation will be provided while on site.
