The Company

Robert Half Executive Search has been exclusively retained to identify the next Head of People & Culture for an exciting, private equity backed wholesale and distribution organisation.

Established within the engineering solutions space for many years, this company has recently been acquired by a private equity firm who have ambitious growth plans in place.

This is an exciting time to join this entrepreneurial and dynamic business that has enjoyed a rich history. With one acquisition already completed (and three more in the pipeline), the firm is looking to double the current $160M business within the next three years. As such,

the leadership group are now looking to invite an experienced Head of People & Culture to join the team to help facilitate the next stage in their evolution.

The Head of People & Culture will be instrumental in defining and promoting the culture of the organisation, establishing robust processes to ensure continued success as the business grows. This is an exciting time to join this high-growth organisation that has enjoyed significant success since its inception, and is committed to investing in its greatest asset, people.

The Role

The cultural fit and attitude of the new Head of People & Culture will be critical. Coming into a largely greenfield site and reporting into the CEO, the Head of People & Culture sits in the executive leadership team and will be working collaboratively across the business to drive a high-performance culture. The successful individual will be tasked with creating and executing HR strategies, systems, and processes to support the business, working hand in hand with the executive leadership team to set the organisational strategy.

The business is positioning itself for an exciting few years ahead and this role is instrumental in defining and promoting a culture of company-wide accountability, engagement and alignment.

Through the proactive development of a performance-based culture, the Head of People & Culture will ensure this business has the 'best team on the field' to achieve its ambitious objectives. This will include attracting the best talent to the firm as well as ensuring their retention through clear and transparent career development and succession plans.

Your Profile

The successful individual will have prior experience of designing and leading organisational people and culture initiatives. As the business seeks to increase its headcount through expansion and acquisition, a demonstrated ability to build and support high-performing teams in a high-growth, fast-paced and complex multi-site environment will be critical to the success of this individual.

Ideally with significant exposure to businesses having undergone significant change or transformation, the successful individual will have defined and implemented business goals and metrics relevant to people and culture.
