Recruitment Assistant



The consistent development and growth of our local Brisbane team means that a new position is well warranted. This business unit works with a small group of clients that need a very particular way of handling them. There is a strong if they say 'jump', we will ask 'how high' mentality!!



It's a wide and varied role and will require someone that is happy to work alternative hours as a good part of the work will be outside of normal office hours.



It's not a business development role, and doesn't require experience in recruitment. The emphasis will be on recruitment, candidate management, onboarding and later on, account management.

The emphasis is to support Business Development Manager in making the most of accounts that have been brought to the table. However, any contribution towards the development of new business will be well rewarded.



For the right person, the role will have lots of appeal:





- Dealing with a wide variety of people – from senior client contacts through to grass roots candidates

- Something new every hour let alone every day

- A chance to help make a positive difference to people's lives

- Join in with a positive work culture

- And more than anything, an opportunity to enjoy coming to work (where most of us spend the majority of our waking moments:))



These are the key things that we are looking for:





- An ability to deal with changing priorities

- A well developed sense of maturity

- A flexible personality 

- An ability to work at a wide variety of times through the day and week

- Confidence dealing with client contacts in a number of industries

- Happy to work after hours on client sites – starting our workers on projects

- Ability to conduct drug and alcohol tests

- Recruitment skills – sourcing and matching people with our clients requirements

- Someone who is extremely good with people and can build strong relationships

- Someone that is prepared to look at this as a long term career opportunity

- Most importantly, an ability to see the positive out of any situation



The successful candidate will need to be happy to:





- Supply 2 x references

- Happy to have a federal police check

- Complete an online behavioural test
