Ticketing Services Officer

Title: Ticketing Services Officer, Permanent - Part-time Role, 42 hours per fortnight



Salary Range: $56,224.99 to $65,342.84 per annum on pro rata basis + super (subject to skills and experiences)



Stretching from Palm Beach to Manly, the Northern Beaches boasts more than half of all the beaches in Sydney and a population of more than 270,000. Northern Beaches Council was created in 2016 through the three councils of Manly, Pittwater and Warringah coming together to deliver the highest quality services to the community.

Exciting new infrastructure projects and community programs have quickly demonstrated the positive impact the new council is having.



Role Purpose

The Ticketing Services Officer reports to the Ticketing Services Coordinator and acts as the second in charge when required. They are responsible for working effectively with the Ticketing Services team to provide strong administrative and financial support and excellent customer service.



Glen Street Theatre prides itself on being an efficient and customer-focused organisation and the Ticketing Services Officer plays a key role in achieving this vision. This role is also responsible for maintaining the data accuracy of the theatre’s ticketing system and working to prepare and analyse data for patron communication, promotional campaigns and strategies.



Key Responsibilities



Customer Service and Administration



•    Ensure an excellent customer service experience.

•    Manage a high level of box office service delivery including acting as the first point of customer contact by responding to customer phone and email queries, processing ticket orders, and troubleshooting varied patron account issues within the ticketing system.

•    Undertake comprehensive administrative and financial tasks.

•    Facilitate and supervise daily Box Office activities including the selling of tickets, processing membership sales, issuing refunds, ticket exchanges, invoicing and updating patron data.

•    Support and supervise the Box Office team in prioritising and completing daily tasks in order to meet set performance measures and deadlines.

•    Use initiative in managing work, identifying priorities and meeting agreed deadlines

•    Operate as an effective member of the Glen Street Theatre team, to meet set performance measures and deadlines.

•    Actively participate in consultation and team meetings to provide for continuous business improvement

•    Ensuring close communication and collaboration with other departments within the theatre to ensure a seamless customer experience.
