About the Position & Location



Due to recent growth within the organisation we are looking for part time Customer Support Representatives to take inbound calls and and respond to emails for the purpose of making clinical appointments for our radiology practice. 



Hours



- Monday to Wednesday (7.5 hours per day) + occasional Saturday as overtime

- Start times vary between 8:00am to 9:30am

- Finish times vary between 4:00pm to 5:30pm

- Extra hours on Thursday and Friday will be required during the initial 3 month training period.



Location



Osborne Park, WA, 6017.



Duties



This position will provide quality customer service through taking inbound calls for medical appointments across our practice.



Outstanding customer service and excellent attention to detail are essential requirements for this position.



Reporting to a Team Leader, your duties will include;



- Care for customers by maintaining a high standard of patient care, safety and confidentiality

- Take patient bookings for clinical appointments by answering inbound calls

- Attend to customer enquiries via email 

- Interpreting referrals (from doctors)

- Answer internal phone calls

- Computer work including billing and data entry 



About You



1. You have well developed interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise effectively with, and provide services to, people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds

2. You have experience that demonstrates your ability to excel in customer service

3. You can demonstrate a high level of attention to detail with regard to reading online forms and databases as well as computer work such as data entry and cross checking information for accuracy

4. Knowledge of or ability to assume knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy 

5. You work well independently and in team environments

6. You are confident with computers and using different databases





Previous experience in medical reception, the healthcare industry or a contact centre environment or with taking inbound calls, though not essential, will be highly regarded.



Criminal Record Screening



The shortlisted / preferred candidates will be required to provide a National Police Clearance obtained within the past 1 month.



A criminal history does not automatically bar interested candidates from applying.  Any criminal record will be treated  confidentially and will be assessed on a case by case basis with relevance to the requirements of the position.
