About the role | Part time and Casual Customer Service Officers | Newcastle Region

We have part time and casual positions available across the Newcastle region that will commence in April 2021. We are looking for enthusiastic, flexible and self-motivated individuals to join our team.

As a Customer Service Officer, you will be the face of Greater Bank and play a proactive role in helping our customers achieve their financial goals. Our customers are our purpose, so they will be at the centre of all you do. You will engage with our customers,

identifying their needs and offering appropriate solutions with our comprehensive range of products and services. Striving towards achieving personal and team daily and monthly targets will see you succeed in this role.

The casual positions will be required to work within the following span of hours;

- 8:50am to 5:05pm Monday to Friday and alternate Saturday mornings from 8:50am to 12:05pm

The part-time positions we have on offer are;

- 8:50am to 5:05pm five (5) days per fortnight and alternate Saturday mornings from 8:50am to 12:05pm;

- 8:50am to 5:05pm three (3) days per week and alternate Saturday mornings from 8:50am to 12:05pm;

- 8:50am to 5:05pm two (2) days per week and alternate Saturday mornings from 8:50am to 12:05pm.

Shortlisted candidates will need to be available to attend an assessment centre in Newcastle on Wednesday 10 March and commence in April 2021. 

Successful candidates may be placed at any of our Newcastle and Lake Macquarie branches after the initial training period. A current Drivers Licence will be required.

As the successful candidate, you will have:

- Previous retail customer service experience

- Demonstrated relationship and sales ability

- Ability to promote products and services

- Solid cash handling skills

- Proficient computer skills and the ability to pick up new systems

- Ability to work well in a small team environment
