The Role:
This is a full-time role for a Warehouse Storeman based in our Brisbane warehouse at Banyo. Working as part of the warehouse team you must be reliable, punctual and physically fit for lifting of heavy stock. Your responsibilities will include,
- Prepare and pick sales orders for dispatch.
- Unloading of containers
- All incoming stock advised and receipted.
- Manage Inventory ensuring the overall accuracy.
- Be involved in stock takes.
- Follow up and resolve any internal/external customer concerns.
- Customer deliveries when time permits.
- Ensure the ongoing cleanliness of the physical warehouse, stock put away and well organized.
- Make sure all daily operational requirements are met.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Manual driver licence.
- Forklift licence (desirable with reach forklift experience an advantage) or willingness to obtain your forklift licence a must.
- Good communication skills
- Self-motivated and can follow directions in a variety of tasks.
- Appropriate levels of physical fitness for heavy lifting.
- Be able to work under pressure – it can be extremely busy during peak periods.
- Reliable, honest with a good work ethic and attitude.
- Willing to work any necessary overtime to best suit the business requirements.
