About the role:
Kilter seeks to be the pre-eminent supplier for the investment sector in the creation, governance and execution of investment portfolios that deliver real sustainability improvements; responsible revenue flows and brand benefits.
We are seeking a financial accountant with experience in water trading to join our Business and Finance Team, to help drive our business with financial anaylsis and reporting.
The key responsibilities include:
- • Primary responsibility for Monthly Management Reporting on Investment Funds
- • Preparation of monthly Net Asset Value (NAV) and Finance Reports
- • Responsible for monitoring water trading positions including acquisitions and disposal of water holdings and revenue recognition of forward contract and lease arrangements.
- • Analysis of operational costs, revenues, and trends to develop projections for future revenue and expenses.
- • Monitoring cashflow and investment spend against approved budget
- • Providing information and preparing quarterly Business Activity Statements and Financial Statements for numerous Trust entities, including payroll processing and compliance with PAYG and Superannuation obligations.
Attributes required
Bachelor degree in accounting
At least 2 years’ experience in an internal management or financial accounting role
Experience with water trading Interest in agriculture
A mature, self motivated style with the ability to take responsibility for solving problems.
