The Role



:



We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our team in our Mackay based workshop. Ultimately, this role will see you responsible for the scheduled and breakdown maintenance on the G&S; Fleet



 Including tasks such as;



- Inspect and test vehicles; completing preventive & routine maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and replacing filters.

- Conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components;

- Verify vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives, adjusting controls and systems.

- Maintain vehicle appearance by cleaning, washing, and fuelling



- Maintain vehicle records by recording service and repairs as per G&S; procedures and Policies

- Ensure stock levels are sufficient by completing inventory counts and placing orders

- Maintain clean and tidy workspace & general housekeeping



About You:



To succeed in this role, you will possess the following;



- Qualified LV Mechanics with post trade experience of 2 years

- Experience across diverse range of light/heavy vehicle and plant equipment servicing and repairing

- Ability to work both unsupervised and as part of a team

- Current Drivers Licence

- HR License / Fork Lift License – Beneficial

- Statement of Attainment – LV/HV Braking Systems Faults – Beneficial
