The Opportunity



With strong growth in our mining customer operations, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Support Technician / HD Fitter to join the team based at Karlawinda Gold Project. In this role, your key focus will be to provide preventative and breakdown maintenance on the EH3500 Hitachi Haul Trucks. With unlimited access to technical support and OEM level training, you will be well equipped to perform your best when performing diagnostic evaluations and component fault analytics on quality earthmoving machinery.



 Working a 2/2 even time FIFO roster, you will also:



- Provide quality and timely customer outcomes through diagnostic, maintenance, and repairs to a wide range of equipment



- Attending to onsite site breakdowns and undertaking fault finding and diagnostic work

- Maintaining the important link between the customer and the company, ensuring a high level of technical product support



To be successful in this role, you will:



- Ensure the HCA Safety Culture is embraced, displayed and driven from within - safety takes priority over everything else

- Hold relevant Australian (or Australian recognised) mobile plant trade qualifications

- Have experience, knowledge and understanding of mining equipment. Specific exposure to the Hitachi product will be a distinct advantage

- Have a strong work ethic, providing quality and timely customer outcomes

- Have good communication and customer service skills with the ability to build long term relationships
