The Company
Our clients are well known civil contracting businesses that operate within the mining civils and roads infrastructure space. With project awards progressing rapidly in the civil Infrastructure and resource sectors they are currently looking to expand their project teams with hands-on and driven Civil Project Engineers.
We are currently looking for candidates at Site, Project and Senior Project Engineer level with solid civil contracting experience. These roles are mainly FIFO with swings ranging up to 2:1 with between 20-30% uplift dependent on the swing.
Skills and Experience
- Civil contracting experience as a Project Engineer working in mining services and infrastructure space
- Project and technical experience in the areas of earthworks/bulk earhworks, drainage, roads, rail, non-process infrastructure etc.
- Ability to provide strong technical advice & coordinate with other site & project engineers to deliver on the design and specifications
- Oversee QAQC/quality reporting as well as assisting with cost and productivity reporting – ability to identify issues/risks that may occur
- Oversee site activities associated with the efficient use of plant, equipment and materials
- Work closely with the on-site supervisors to ensure prioritisation and productivity of their crews
- Possess recognised Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
- Enjoy working in a collaborative and focused team environment
