in FY2021 Aeris is forecasting to produce more than 23,000 tonnes of copper from its Tritton Copper Operations in New South Wales, and 70,000 ounces of gold from its Cracow Gold Operations in Queensland.
The Operation
Tritton Copper Operations is located near Nyngan in NSW. Tritton Copper Operations has two underground copper mines (Tritton and Murrawombie) and a 1.8 million tonne/yr processing plant. The mines are deep level, high tonnage stoping operations and are currently the largest of its type in NSW.
Our residential roster allows you to be home every night in the town of Nyngan which has a population of 2,000 people, a multitude of shops and sporting activities as well as junior and high schools.

Job Description
The Role
Reporting to the Senior Mine Surveyor, the Mine Surveyor will assist in ensuring that survey activities and tasks for the two mine sites are executed as per plan in a safe and timely manner.
Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Demonstrate proactive safety behaviour and participating in incident investigations as required
- Assist in reporting on survey activities to the Mining Superintendent to assist in delivering budgeted tonnes/grades
- Support survey control of the mine site
- Manage survey equipment and the calibration of survey equipment
- Maintain accurate and up to date plans of the entire site
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
- Mine site experience as a surveyor
- Tertiary qualification in surveying
- Strong general survey knowledge with demonstrated skills in report writing, spreadsheets and databases
- Eligible or working towards obtaining registration as a mining surveyor in NSW
- Advanced Surpac or Deswik experience
- Capable of working autonomously, but equally a strong team player within the Technical Services department
