The position
- Responsible for the technical support to our various waste management processes
- Provide technical and analytical support to the site, sales team and external laboratory customers
- Processing and management of various chemical waste streams on site
Skills and Experience
- Degree in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Sound experience working with waste or hazardous chemicals
- Field sampling or laboratory experience
- Experience with risk assessments and work instructions
- Meticulous record keeping skills in accordance within a tightly regulated controlled waste environment.
- Knowledge and understanding of chemicals and applicable legislation relating to their use, storage and disposal
- Forklift licence and experience
