This is a brilliant opportunity not to be missed to join the Youth Cancer Service SA/NT based at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. The new Royal Adelaide Hospital is the largest hospital in South Australia, providing world-class health care and facilities. As a Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist/Health Psychologist,
you will provide a range of psychology services to adolescent and young adults with cancer across a range of health care agencies including hospitals, community health agencies as well as private and non-government sector services.
Your experience in psychology will include a demonstrated ability to design, implement and evaluate psychological assessments and interventions. You will be a team player who enjoys working within a multidisciplinary framework and possess the demonstrated ability to apply specialist skills in assessing and resolving clinical problems. You will work with adolescents and young adults with cancer and their families through a variety of interventions which may include individual, group and family interventions as well as consultancy services to hospitals and outside agencies.
You must hold an appropriate degree (Masters Degree in Clinical or Health Psychology) or equivalent qualification recognised by the Psychology Board of Australian (PsyBA) and have general registration with PsyBA.
