WA Health engages staff in positions of trust and responsibility. WA Health policies require applicants to undertake criminal records screening and integrity checking as part of the appointment process. Referees may also be asked to comment on an applicant’s integrity and past demonstration of ethical behaviour.Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/03/2022.
Position Profile: The Theatre Orderly is responsible for providing safe effective patient handling and positioning of patients. Responsible for the safe transport of patients, specimens, equipment and supply items to and from the operating theatres at King Edward Memorial Hospital. Responsible to clean all areas maintaining a high standard of hygiene as applicable to Infection Control Standards and according to cleaning procedures and policies at KEMH Women and Newborn Health Service.
