Permanent Position 

Sydney CBD 

$130,000 - $160,000 + Bonus 



The Opportunity 



We are looking for a skilled Controls Assurance Engineer who wants the next step or a lead or who wants a fresh challenge. Someone technical but good at large scale thinking & planning. 

The opportunity is with a business still currently with fairly low maturity within IT Risk, we are looking for someone to help take them on the journey to a more robust solution. 

With this position you would be responsible for Controls Assurance planning & the planning of Controls Assurance Testing.

You would have 2 direct reports who would be resposible for completing the tests & helping with the day to day operations. 





Skills Required 



- Previous experience in Controls assurance within IT 

- Strong understanding of risk planning in a larger enviroment 

- Great understanding of Controls Assurance Testing

- Strong communicator with good stakeholder management skills

- Previous experience working in line 1 risk 

- Experience working with APRA would be an advantage

- Experience in a financial business highly desireable 

- Knowledge of risk in cloud an advantage
