FULL-TIME, FIXED TERM CONTRACT (3 YEARS), JOONDALUP CAMPUS



Overview



The Enterprise Risk unit of Edith Cowan University supports the University to make effective decisions based on a holistic understanding of the inherent risks and opportunities.



We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Risk Adviser to join our team in providing relevant and timely advice to support the University’s strategic goals in an increasingly complex and dynamic operational environment.





The Role

As Risk Adviser, you will report to the University’s Chief Risk Officer and focus on the following key areas:





- Develop and maintain risk management plans and ensure adherence with the University’s risk management policies and processes

- Build relationships with stakeholders to identify and assess risks, participate in risk reviews and facilitate risk workshops

- Consolidate risk information for reporting into relevant governance bodies

- Maintain risk information in the enterprise risk management system

- Coordinate project risk assurance and audit activities





You will also provide risk management advice as part of the project team for the construction of ECU’s exciting new Creative Industries, Business and Technology Campus, located in the heart of the Perth CBD adjacent to Yagan Square. Learn more about ECU’s City Campus here .



Your proven experience in working in a relevant risk-specific role, combined with demonstrated knowledge and qualifications in business or risk management and stakeholder engagement capabilities will place you in an excellent position for this role. Experience providing risk advice on large capital or business change projects, an internal customer service attitude and highly developed written and verbal communication skills will further strengthen your application.

This fixed term, 3 year contract attracts remuneration of $90,220 - $101,090 (HEW7) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
