$70k annual salary + superannuation + salary packaging benefits + 17.5% leave loading



The Team Leader in our Child Safety program act as a role model and mentor for trauma-informed care in line with Child Safety Principles and pathways and provides direct management and supervision of a team of Support Workers - Child Safety. In addition to these leadership and supervisory responsibilities,

the Child Safety Team Leaders provide case management and coordination for a small caseload of young people ensuring all services delivered are in accordance with their care plan and within budget.

Wellways work under a 24/7 model of care so direct support of young person will be required in the role therefore availability to cover a range of shifts including sleepovers will be required.

About you:

You will be motivated with a genuine interest in working with young people in need. You will have highly developed trauma-informed skills with experience in program delivery utilising effective systems and processes. Your ability to support and manage the work of a multidisciplinary team, along with excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative working style is essential in this role.

Essential:

Certificate IV in preferred course or be actively working towards a recognised qualification

Driver's License and your own vehicle

Experience working with young people in a residential care environment

Practical, active and caring personality

Police clearance - not less than 12 months old

Blue & Yellow card (Current)



Desirable:

Experience working with youth/trauma/complex needs

Demonstrated Team Leadership skills

Excellent administration skills

Mental Health experience
