About Us

Mach1Fight Club is a mixed martial arts gym located in Osborne Park, Perth. We provide training and classes in Boxing, Sparring, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, BJJ No-Gi, Judo, Muay Thai, MMA, Kids Martial Arts, Freestyle Wrestling, Kettlebell Fitness, Movement, Combat Strength & Conditioning & Yoga.

Mach1Fight Club is looking to add another Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Coach (full-time permanent position) to their team to motivate, inspire and help change the lives of our members through their individual journeys for the development of their health, fitness, and mindset.

Minimum qualification: Certificate III or Certificate IV qualification in the relevant field.

Minimum work experience:

3 years of experience as a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Coach.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Scheduling individual and group lessons.

Providing instruction on grade-appropriate techniques.

Informing students about the historical and theoretical underpinnings of these techniques.

Fostering discipline and respect within the classroom.

Supervising students to ensure that interactions remain safe at all times.

Encouraging the appropriate use of techniques learned, both within and outside of the classroom.

Providing lectures and demonstrations to parents, companies, and other members of the public to promote safety.

Organizing and leading pertinent events such as gradings, workshops, boot camps, and tournaments.

Monitoring and noting students’ progress, providing feedback for students on an individual and group basis where there is a need for improvement/ grounds for a reward.

Performing administrative duties, as required

The ideal candidate would have:

Black belt second degree or higher in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Prior experience teaching BJJ to students of varying ages and fitness levels.

Proven ability to prepare students for participation in local, national, and international tournaments is preferred.

Physically agile.

Top-notch leadership skills.

Outstanding verbal communication skills with the capacity to command attention.

Respectful, supportive, and fair approach to teaching.

Excellent events planning skills.

Deeply passionate about Martial Arts and self-development.
