About the role This role is responsible for growing Wolters Kluwer’s hospital and library customer base for our market leading clinical research platform, Ovid. The primary purpose of this role is to support our existing customer base, set them up for success, and generate revenue growth for an established portfolio. This role is based in Macquarie Park and is full-time and permanent. Key responsibilities include: Share the value of the Ovid research platform and academic content to a loyal portfolio of hospitals, health departments, academic,
government and corporate clients within New South Wales and South Australia Achieve strong renewal rates in subscription sales and increase account penetration through upselling Nurture relationships with key accounts including clinical staff, senior librarians and academic faculty Identify new sales opportunities Build a sales pipeline across your territory to ensure achievement of revenue targets Present accurate forecasts on sales revenue for the assigned territory. About you The ideal candidate possesses: 5+ years’ experience in selling subscription based content or technology Experience selling into academic institutions, libraries, hospitals or government (desirable) An excellent account management skillset and solutions sales approach Experience using CRMs such as Salesforce.com Organisational and analytical skills and with a good attention to detail The ability to travel locally and interstate to client sites on a regular basis (30%) An interest and enthusiasm for helping customers to optimise their use of technology and information, so that their businesses succeed An appetite to work within a growing software and publishing business as part of a huge multinational organisation with many development opportunities.
