This primary focus of this role is to undertake work including a variety of calibration, diagnostic testing & measurement services during construction, operation and maintenance to electrical protection and control equipment and electrical plant on AusNet Electricity Network. The successful candidate is required to display a positive customer and team focus, work effectively,
participate in identifying workplace change or productivity improvements. AusNet has coverage across Victoria, although this role has a primary location of Benalla, the incumbent may be required to travel within the state to other AusNet sites, overnight stay may be required and you will need to be open to working on-call. About the role: Provide diagnostic testing and maintenance services on a wide variety of electrical protection and control relays & equipment Coordinate testing activities with internal & external customers Prepare work records and reports as required, including input into databases and work hours/daily work records Comply with flexible work practices to meet system needs-including multi-skilling. Ensure that they maintain all the required training and authorizations in date at all times Perform the role of Team Leader when required in the Team Leaders absence. Receive and provide on the job training as required. Will be required to undertake availability duties. Support the development of other team members, including trainees About you: Advanced Diploma of ESI – Power systems or equivalent qualification Strong technical knowledge and experience working across power systems related secondary equipment Experience in analysing and solving technical information, including fault finding in relation to both the maintenance and commissioning of secondary systems.
