The Production Supervisor has the responsibility for the work of a specified room within production. You will demonstrate maturity and the ability to manage a team. To ensure the standards and procedures established by the business are implemented for its safe operation. Responsibilities:
To ensure all work practices in their area of control are undertaken in accordance with work instructions (WI’s) and any ongoing compliance from audit Ensure all staff are GMP trained and coached to give compliance to day to day procedures around GMP Ensuring all workers in your area including contractors are compliant Understand quality procedures that need to be carried out in the department, including checks and records that need to be completed and ensure that these are done Undertake and coordination of stocktake Work with the CI team to improve operational performance and rectify any identified issues To systematically walk the floor hourly and identify issues and provide feedback To ensure change overs are expedited to ensure optimum uptime is achieved Work with Engineering team to rectify equipment issues in a timely manner Ensure team are aware of KPI targets and ways of achieving these to deliver on daily plan Ensure all production operatives are trained appropriately Supervision so that compliance to all company policies is maintained and all employees are aware of their obligations in respect of to these policies Criteria: Experience supervising & managing a team You will have 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role in a multisite fast paced FMCG environment. Manufacturing experience essential with smallgoods experience desirable but not essential. Strong communicationskills with an emphasis on excellent listening and interaction skills High physical capacity for factory floor role Quality focus Good conflict resolution skills Structured and logical methodology Attention to detail and accuracy
