Job Type: Contract Location: North Sydney Job Category: IT Integrity Systems Company (ISC) develops, delivers and administers integrity programs and applications for the meat and livestock industry have a great opportunity for a Technical Business Analyst to join the team on a 12 month contract. As the Technical Business Analyst , this role is responsible for working with the Product Owners to clarify, document and communicate the details of the product roadmaps as well as build relationships with multiple stakeholders across the organisation as well as service partners, 3rd party suppliers and government entities. Job Description Other key accountabilities of this role includes: Collaborate with Product Owners, Technical Leads,
Solution Architects as well as internal and external development and test teams. Supporting the Product Owner in clarifying, documenting, and communicating the details (customer goals, features, user stories) of the product roadmap. Build relationships with multiple stakeholders across the organisation as well as service partners, 3rd party suppliers and government entities. Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis Facilitate industry and stakeholder problem and design discovery workshops Outline broad aspects of possible solution options and provide recommendations on preferred solutions Write clear and concise user-stories and acceptance criteria. Demonstrate and present developed features to internal and external stakeholders Drive Product Backlog definition, priorities and maintenance, in collaboration with product owners, internal and external stakeholders and the development team Participate in all aspects of project delivery, including daily scrums, iteration planning and product showcases Capture existing (As-Is) and future (To-Be) states for processes and systems including the associated infrastructure, architecture and data flow. Desired Skills and Experience The successful candidate will have: Previous experience working as a Technical Business Analyst ideally in an agile environment – a minimum of 3 years. Exceptional written, verbal, analytical, organisational, problem-solving and presentation skills. Ability to write concise, easy to understand and to the point user-stories. Excellent requirement gathering, analysis and documentation skills through user stories. High levels of confidence, creativity, critical thinking ability, a willingness to learn and take feedback with a proactive attitude when faced with challenges. Workshop planning and facilitation experience. Methodical approach and good attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Experience working with tools such as the Atlassian Suite of products and Office 365. Solid technical data analysis skills in SQL and Relational Databases. Experience with Digital Platforms.
