The Full-Stack Application Support Engineer role will require you to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in to developing and supporting the full technology stack, both current systems and new projects, including our digital transformation strategy. You will be a knowledgeable Applications Support Engineer who will monitor and maintain the efficiency of our full stack of software applications. This role reports to our Head of Projects and Transformation as well as collaborating with colleagues both within the Technology team and across the whole business in Australia and New Zealand.
We require the traits of a dynamic and competent Application Support Engineer who will be an integral member of the Technology team and provide efficient and qualitative support to the business.
SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT, SUPPORT AND MAINTENANCEBe a key contributor in the development, configuration, maintenance, and support of the organisation’s software and technology
Perform, manage and support end of month operations
Assist in off-hours support for production emergencies
Get involved in new projects and intiatives
Ability to triage requests and manage time efficiently
Perform detailed analysis of information provided to find the root cause of any issue or request
Efficiently and effectively communicate with stakeholders including team members, vendors, and users
Manage the support process end to end, from a support request being logged up to the delivery of the solution into production
Provide user training and promote user adoption for any system enhancements or implementation of new platforms and applications
Proactively learn and understand new technologies being deployed and provide ongoing support
Interact with project teams for new product development, obtain insights from technical issues of previous products
Perform unit, system, and integration testing and liaise with internal and external teams to resolve issues
Document UAT test cases and manage execution
Complete any supporting documentation including change requests, testing, processes, user guides
Contribute to statement of work, functional and technical specs
Perform debugging procedures and develop code updates to fix reported defects
Stabilise new products from R&D; into production
Manage the delivery of upgrades and changes to full-stack production environment
Implement best practices in software engineering
Ensure effective front and back end functionality of applications and optimize performance

Identify and correct unsafe conditions or behaviours and immediately notify Manager of any serious incidents; complete Incident / Injury Report and forward to Human Resources within 48 hours where necessary.

Ensure “best practice” processes across all areas of responsibility are maintained, aligning to Maia Financial’s strategies and initiatives wherever possible.

TEAM MEMBER PROFILE
Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology, information systems, computer engineering or similar.
ExperienceDemonstrated ability to gather information, analyse and solve problems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to think strategically and provide commercially sound and pragmatic advice
Experience in cloud infrastructure, origination and loan management systems (Realtime Finesse and Fiscal), Salesforce CRM, web applications, SQL, Datawarehouse, Reporting, JIRA, Microsoft product suite, Agile ideal Understanding of finance, lending and accounting Advanced knowledge of front end and back end programming languages (SQL, Asp.Net Core/C#, Angular/Typescript, HTML, CSS, JSON) preferred
Ability to keep up with innovation in application design and emerging technologies.
