$51,896 – $70,577 plus superannuation

About the role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Administrative Assistant to join our Chambers team based in Melbourne CBD. Victoria Legal Aid's (VLA) Chambers provides high quality advocacy and advice services to in house lawyers and is committed to the highest standards of advocacy.

In this role, you will provide a wide range of administrative support services, including maintaining the central diary and case management system, coordinating travel arrangements, and undertaking data entry. You will also assist the Advocates Clerks in providing a central contact point for the briefing of in-house counsel and provide a wide range of legal secretarial and administrative support.

About you:

You will be experienced in producing quality administrative work, with the ability to work under limited direction, manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high standard of work.

You will have excellent team work skills, demonstrate flexibility and maintain a positive outlook in a high-pressure environment. Crucial to your success in this role will be your highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to engage people and build mutually beneficial relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
