global team of approximately 650 employees. We provide services to the entire global population of JPMC, currently totaling over 260,000 employees worldwide, across 60 countries. GES provides vital services in the area of Contact Centre (HRAnswers), Payroll, Benefits Administration, Global Data Management (including records management and letters production), On/Off boarding employees, and Workforce Analytics and Surveys. The GES in-country location team partner with offshore Corporate Centres to deliver GES products and services, integrating Global and Regional policy with local country requirement to deliver compliant regulatory reporting programs.
Working within a high calibre HR team supporting the ANZ location, the GES Analyst role is responsible for delivering high quality HR Operational and analytical support across a number of HR Related activities including Onboarding, Offboarding, Payroll, Benefits, Records Management & Expatriate Payroll related activities. As a Subject Matter Expert, the GES Analyst will partner with the Corporate Centres, offshore teams and External Vendors to deliver seamless and efficient HR operational services.
The GES Analyst role requires a strong self-starter, who thrives working within a demanding, fast paced global environment, whilst managing competing priorities. With exceptional data analytical skills and combined with experience in employment related Regulatory Reporting activities, the GES Analyst will identify problems and confidently recommend solutions that support a compliant program, whilst increasing productivity and efficiency.
Key Accountabilities / Major Responsibilities:
Working with the GES Country Manager to ensure local objectives are aligned with global and regional priorities.
Working with process owners to define GES target operating model and aligning service delivery for ANZ.
Perform Business As Usual (BAU) activities accurately and efficiently within agreed timeframes;
Monitor services level agreements delivered by internal and external stakeholders;
Continually review operational processes with a primary focus on control effectiveness, streamlining and removing duplication of effort
Maintain all process documentation in 'Standard Operating Procedures' (SOPS) and update changes as required;
Act as the GES SME for all Products and Services delivered in location.
Develop & facilitate relationships with key clients, business partners and/or vendors.
Ensure all operational processes are delivered according to all Global, Regional and Local Regulatory Reporting obligations;
Maintain deep understanding of location legislative employment related environment to provide technical expertise and advice to the stakeholders, including HR.
Co-ordinate all internal & external audits.
Constantly reinforce risk management and control as a priority across all aspects of GES Activities.
Identify opportunities to optimize operational execution, defining best practices, whilst developing a deep understand of business requirements;
Develop compliant solutions that align with internal requirements across locations, with consideration to impacts both upstream and downstream.
Qualifications & Experience Required:Qualifications:
A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (preferably HR).
Minimum 7 years' experience working within Payroll processing environment including preparation, delivery and/or management of monthly payroll;
Preparation and lodgement of all Employment Tax related Annual Returns including Payroll Tax, Superannuation, Single Touch Payroll (STP), Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), Workers Compensation
Co-ordination of monthly Salary Packaging deductions with Payroll Team including management of the novated leasing process;
Understanding of HR Accounting related activities including Annual Leave and Long Service Leave accruals;
Knowledge of Fair Work Act and the Banking, Finance and Insurance Award 2020;
Experience in managing Employee Insurance Claims and Return to Work activities;
Exceptional data analytical skills to help identify process gaps when measured against internal policies, systems and Regulatory Reporting obligations;
Intermediate to advanced excel skill level and ability to deliver meaningful analytics and insight to the business
Experience with HR regulatory reporting such as the WGEA and internal reporting on employee movement
Solutions orientated thinker who is able to perceive issues from a client's perspective;
Strong communicator, both verbal and written;
Excellent client relationship skills with an ability to identify, build and maintain relationships both within HR and externally to deliver successful outcomes;
Comfortable working and promoting risk and controls to maintain compliant programs and environment;
Self-starter; ability to resolve BAU issues effectively with strong service and ownership mindset;
Team player with ability to work in a small team cohesively;
Experience with collaborating and working with offshore teams;
Experience with Xceptor will be advantageous
