About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Interior Designer who will play a key leadership role within our Sydney Studio. You will work with an outstanding group of designers and architects who are passionate about design and delivering the best outcomes for clients.
As a Senior Designer, you will be managing projects end to end and be the key client contact for projects. We are looking for designers with strong design acumen and client management skills with proven high-end experience across Workspace and Commercial.
This is both a leadership and hands on role. Our Interior Design team work on projects in small teams and individually as well as working closely with our architecture team on larger projects. We rely on our designers to be able to manage projects from end to end, which may be with the assistance of our documentation team or managing everything themselves. This means all our designer are required to have strong Revit skills as well as being capable of communicating designs and ideas through multiple mediums including Revit, Enscape, Indesign, Photoshop and Sketchup.
Our open and light filled Sydney studio is located in the heart of the Sydney CBD, close to trains, buses and ferries, with an onsite shower for those who enjoy riding or running to work. You will become part of our fun-loving, dedicated and creative team of nearly 30 Architects, Interior Designers, Graphic Design and Documentation professionals.

Play a lead role in client briefings, workshops, design and design development
Building and maintaining client relationships
Play an active role in the management and delivery of projects from all stages; concept design, space planning, design development, documentation to on-site construction management and contract administration.
Lead and manage your own folio of projects and work closely with our Partners to ensure we deliver projects to meet our client expectations
Liaise with clients, consultants and other external stakeholders
Contribute to the ongoing development and mentoring of other staff members
Prepare presentations and communicate designs in multiple forms; Revit, Enscape, Indesign, Photoshop, Sketchup, VR etc.
You will need to have strong experience in leading teams, managing clients across medium to largescale commercial and workspace projects.
Your people skills and teamwork approach are as important to us as your design and technical skills. We pride ourselves on truly understanding our clients’ desires and aspirations and delivering outcomes with our fellow consultants as a team.
You will need to be passionate about design, have a good eye for design and strong technical knowledge so you can lead teams through all stages of a project.
As a national Revit firm, you will need to have a strong understanding of Revit and be capable of getting on the tools when necessary.
To be successful in this role you will need:
A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Workspace and/or Commercial Sectors
Exceptional communication and people skills
Strong client and stakeholder management skills
Ability to lead teams through all project phases: concept design, space planning, design development, documentation to on-site construction management and contract administration
Project Management experience; project planning, resource management, management of project financials and project performance
Ability to lead and deliver multiple projects at once
A good understanding of the fundamental BCA’s and related building regulations and specifications
The capacity to work as part of a team with the ability to work autonomously
Passionate about mentoring and getting the best out of people
Solid presentation skills and ability to communicate design in multiple systems; Indesign, Photoshop, Sketch-up, Enscape, Powerpoint, etc
Proven Revit skills - ideally 2+ years using Revit
