About the opportunity
Our Research Operations team is commencing an exciting period of transformation under a new research support model. We are looking for tremendous leadership capability to successfully guide our teams through this cultural and organisational change.
As the Manager, Research Contracts and Administration,
you will lead a highly driven and motivated team and be responsible for overseeing research contract negotiation and management. Operating as an expert in the contracts space, you will provide clear leadership and guidance to your team, clients and colleagues alike. You will display excellent contact negotiation skills and experience working in complex, ambiguous environments.

- experience in a position responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating and executing contracts, with the ability to identify complex legal contractual issues
- familiarity with the higher education grant landscape
- understanding of the requirements of working with and supporting a high performing collaborative team
- experience managing and driving transformation and continuous improvement
- proven experience in managing legislative obligations in a complex environment
- superior professional negotiation, influencing and relationship building skills with stakeholders or clients.
