The network provides Transtar with an integrated model whereby Transtar people and facilities can control and manage cargo movements across the entire supply chain.


A great opportunity exists for either an experienced Operations Candidate or Customer Service Specialist within the Intl Freight Forwarder industry to join this growing business based in Heatherton. 

This role involves providing great service and support to clients including accurate and on-time processing of shipment orders. 


- Arranging bookings and order management for allocated clients

- Generating reports and quotations for clients

- Proactive handling on any urgent or/and any delayed shipments

- Communicating with international and local offices and suppliers

- Managing various reports and ensuring data accuracy

- Meet KPI standards in accordance with the Company’s procedures

- Client meetings

- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor

- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures 


- EDI Cargowise Experience

- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)

- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service

- Customer service/sales support background

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers

- Experience in the Asian market highly regarded

- Pro-active and strong organizational skills

- The ability to think on their feet in a fast paced environment

- Effective time management

- To be able to work as part of a team to achieve common goals
