ABOUT THE ROLE This hybrid role will appeal to a proactive, experienced and successful team leader and Executive Assistant with an ability to motivate a team of experienced senior Executive Assistant Business Development team members, prioritise departmental work and delegate tasks as necessary, ensuring work is performed to the required quality standard. The successful candidate should have a desire to work closely with the Executive Assistant Business Development Team and their Director(s) to develop the business and embrace the challenge of establishing relationships and setting up meetings with new clients.The key tasks include: - Executive Assistant Team Leadership (approx. 10 ) - approx. 35% focus · Recruitment,
onboarding and training/development activities for the team · Assigning Executive Assistants (EA) to Directors and Principals - matching personal style, skill-set and development plans · Delegating tasks, project work and initiatives to the EA Team · Assisting with day-to-day enquiries and matters raised by the EA Team· Probation and performance reviews· Team building activities · Monthly team meeting contribution and participation · Approving leave requests and ensuring adequate team coverage during periods of leave Executive Assistant Business Development Support business development activities to your Assigned Director/Principal – approx. 65% focus · Sending introductory emails to prospective clients with a view to securing meetings· Review of existing contacts and scheduling follow up meetings · Regular maintenance of Salesforce CRM (client information, opportunities etc)· Administrative support with client proposals · Supporting your assigned Director/Principal with their own Development Leader/people management responsibilities· Diary Management, Travel and Logistics · Other - Expenses, timesheets, newsletter distribution THE CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS It is essential that you have prior strong leadership skills ; interpersonal skills, coordination skills, the ability to analyse and problem-solve as well as attention to detail and a strong customer service attitude. You are also required to have highly developed interpersonal and people management skills, including the ability to interact with and influence people at all levels. Managing diaries with clients’ busy schedules will require diplomacy coupled with tenacity. Being organized, efficient and self-motivated is a necessity. Essential · 6 + years’ experience working in high level similar roles at his level stated above · Proven strong direct team leadership experience is essential – mentoring, coaching and developing a team · Business Development experience· Diary management and administration experience, which must have involved supporting multiple people or workstreams· Proficient in Microsoft (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)· Experience using Salesforce CRM (not essential but highly regarded).
