About the Role We are seeking an experienced, organized self-starter to work as a Sales Engineer on our Australia and New Zealand sales team. This individual will be responsible for leading the technical pre-sales in the region. CrowdStrike Solutions Engineers must combine excellent sales execution and consultative skills with an expert understanding of advanced and emerging security technologies with an emphasis on Zero Trust. By combining technical expertise with business acumen, this role provides vital, detailed information about how CrowdStrike delivers business value to our clients. This role is open to candidates in Sydney, AUS (Remote and Office) and Melbourne, AUS (Remote). Perform technical presentations and product demonstrations that articulate the business and technical value of the solution Responsible for running all aspects of Proof of Concepts with prospective customers including scoping, installing, tracking, documenting and presenting results Possess expert competitive knowledge including solutions, technology, and product offerings Deliver product training to prospects, customers and business partners Develop and build strategic corporate relationships with our customers Provide feedback to the Product Management team based on customer need In conjunction with sales teams, to achieve and aim to exceed assigned quarterly revenue targets. Monitor, assess and report on a continual basis, the competitive situation and market development in the region. What You’ll Need You must have experience working in a quota carrying Sales Engineer / Pre Sales previously and excellent technical knowledge within Cyber Security Able to create excellent relationships with your customers and internally across internal teams - Systems Engineering, Marketing, Professional Services etc… Expert level oral & written communication, organizational, presentation, prioritization and interpersonal skills Strong learning orientation Knowledge of IT architecture and security Experience selling security or networking solutions, especially the UEBA, SIEM, IAM or PAM spaces Knowledge of identity technologies, such as Active Directory, LDAP, SSO, IAM, PAM, etc., and the relevant security market Knowledge of configuring Active Directory and System administration required Knowledge of protocols such as Kerberos, LDAP and SSH Knowledge of Virtualization technologies Knowledge of TCP/IP and networking devices such as Routers and Switches and diagnostic tools such as Wireshark Working knowledge of Linux CLI Security certifications, such as CISSP #LI=DC1 #LI-Remote Benefits of Working at CrowdStrike: Market leader in compensation and equity awards Competitive vacation policy Comprehensive health benefits Paid parental leave, including adoption Flexible work environment Wellness programs Stocked fridges, coffee, soda, and lots of treats We are committed to building an inclusive culture of belonging that not only embraces the diversity of our people but also reflects the diversity of the communities in which we work and the customers we serve.
