Graduate Health Management Program (GHMP) – Finance, delivered in collaboration with University of Tasmania (UTAS).<p> <p style="font-family:Arial">The GHMP provides a unique opportunity for enthusiastic, committed, high potential recent graduates wishing to step up to the challenge of a career in the public health system. Trainees are employed on a temporary full-time basis within NSLHD and undertake a Master’s Degree in Health Service Management through the University of Tasmania (UTAS).<p> <p style="font-family:Arial">The primary purpose of the GHMP at NSLHD is to develop future health leaders for a rewarding and challenging career in health management in Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) and the wider NSW Health system. Specifically, the GHMP Finance position provides an exciting opportunity to work at the leading edge of health service management, learning from our highly experienced and motivated senior health executives.<p> <p style="font-family:Arial"><strong>What you will be doing<strong><p> <p style="font-family:Arial">During the two year program, trainees undertake work placements across the District. These placements provide the opportunity to work closely with the senior executive team and may include; the Chief Executive, NSLHD Directors, NSLHD General Managers and Service Managers.<p> <p style="font-family:Arial">To qualify for the finance position, the successful applicant must possess a university degree that is recognised by CPA Australia as per the link below: <a href="s:w.cpaaustralia.com.auManageApplicationsAccreditedCourse.mvcSearchAccreditedCourses">s:w.cpaaustralia.com.auManageApplicationsAccreditedCourse.mvcSearchAccreditedCourses<a>.<p> <p style="font-family:Arial">Generally speaking, this will be a BusinessCommerceEconomics degree with an Accounting major. This trainee will complete the two year program (together with general GHMP trainees) with the view to commencing a CPA the following year.<p> <p style="font-family:Arial">As part of the program, all trainees are required to successfully complete the Masters of Health Service Management through the University of Tasmania.<p> <p style="font-family:Arial">Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:<p> <div style="font-size:10pt"> <p style="font-family:Arial"> <p> <div> <div> <div style="font-size:10pt"> <ol> <li>Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment.
